Student Programs

Certificates

The certificate program targets to the current engineers of the companies who want energy management expertise in the work place. There are two certificates for the graduates: 1) Certificate of Participation of DOE IAC, and 2) Certificate of Energy Management and Assessment from Purdue University. Students who are admitted to the Purdue Graduate Certificate Program and satisfactorily complete the four course above will receive both certificates. Undergraduate students who join the center, go through required training, and satisfactorily complete at least six real world energy assessments will receive the DOE Certificate.

Note: These four courses are transferable to the MS program if the students are qualified and decide to continue on the MS programs.

BSME/BSEEN with concentration in Energy Management

The option targets to the current students in the BSME or BSEEN programs, who want to build their careers on energy efficiency and management. These students will need to take the three lecture courses in the certificate program as a part of their Plan of Study and the last assessment project course as the Free Elective or an additional course in order to receive the concentration in Energy Management and the certification of participation from DOE.

MSME with concentration in Energy Management
